Coin of the Year Award（COTY）世界錢幣大獎，是由美國克勞斯出版社（Krause Publications）主辦，又被譽為錢幣界的奧斯卡大獎，1984年舉辦至今，是世界錢幣評獎賽事中影響最大的評選之一！

世界錢幣大獎每年舉辦一次，獎項根據錢幣的設計、藝術感及鑄造工藝做為評選依據，當年度評選的為前兩年發行的硬幣。

世界錢幣大獎，每年年底進行第一輪評選，首先選出的爲十個單項獎，即最佳雙金屬幣、最佳流通幣、最佳時事幣、最佳克朗幣、最佳金幣、最佳銀幣、最佳藝術幣、最佳歷史意義幣、最佳創意幣及最富激情幣。然後次年的2月份，從這十個單項獎獲獎硬幣中，再選出一枚硬幣，獲得當年度的最佳錢幣大獎。
