This incredible three dimensional coin represents the fascinating Mayan pyramid of Chichen Itza. The four sides of the pyramid show two typical Mayan masks, the Eye of Providence and the famous stairway which leads to its top.
The top of the pyramid is Gold plated and depicts the characteristic look of the famous Temple of Kukulcan, one of the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Sites worldwide.
The base of the pyramid has at its center the Coat of Arms of Nicaragua and the inscriptions: “REPUBLICA DE NICARAGUA” - the country of issue, “AMERICA CENTRAL”, and “50 CORDOBAS” – the face value. The obverse also features the name of the coin – “MAYAN PYRAMID” and the year of issue – “2022”.
It comes in a special pyramid case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 750 pcs.
