The reverse of the coin depicts an incredible coloured and detailed image of a desert with the most famous animals that inhabit it. The Rainforests are rapidly disappearing due to deforestation, the resulting habitat loss and pollution of the atmosphere. On the reverse, the inscriptions: “OUR WONDERFUL AND UNIQUE WORLD”, “THE DESERT ECO SYSTEM”- the name of the coin and the series, and “2022” – the year of issue.
The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” – the issuing country and “10$” – the face value.
