This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin is the first issue in the new "Dual Essence" series and is dedicated to Chronos, the ancient god of time. The coin has a beautiful design with High Relief and selective Gilding. It comes in a gorgeous wooden case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 500 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of the coin depicts an incredibly detailed image of Chronos as a young man on the right and as an old man on the left, symmbolizing the passing of a lifetime and the contrast between oldness and youth. Chronos is holding an hourglass in his hands, another symbol of time.
The reverse also includes the insription: "CHRONOS" – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts a half-moon and half-sun merging into a harmonious image and symbolizing the concept of duality of the universe. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the country of issue, "2023" – the year of issue, "2 oz" – the weight of the coin, "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value and "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver.
